Beautiful In God's Eyes
Three years ago, I started blogging. Although I enjoyed it, I wasn't very faithful. Life would come at me full-force and I would go weeks without saying a word. My desire to blog was to be an encouragement to other women and share things I had learned spiritually. I took a deep breath and plunged in head-first, posting about the Proverbs 31 Woman. So, beginning tomorrow, I'm going share those blogs again. I'll post one every day this week, then, in the following weeks, post three. These posts are based from my personal study of Elizabeth George's book, "Beautiful in God's Eyes". If you haven't read it yet, I highly recommend it ~ in fact, ANY of Elizabeth George's books would be wonderful. She's AMAZING!
If you're like me, I get intimidated and/or frustrated by the Proverbs 31 Woman. You know her ~ Mrs. Perfect. As much as I strive to be her, I can never measure up! She's not just Super-Woman ~ why, she's Super-Christian Woman!
Just a few of her many attributes ~ She gets up while it's night, although she stays up until the wee hours ~ never tires as she buys food from afar and plants her own vineyard. She sews, she takes care of her family, as well as the poor and needy. Her children crown her as Mother of the Year and her husband completely adores her!
Please join my journey as I share a closer look at this lady. She is, after all, an example that we all can learn from.
