Since that time, I've been contemplating about how much time I spend on the computer. I love to keep up with friends & family on FB and get regular emails daily. I love to blog, and I adore Candy Crush! However, after I thought about it, I've spent WAY too much time whiling away my time on the computer!
Needless to say, God's convicted me of it, and I've decided to let some things go. I can't continue my games, because I'll always want to play "just one more" level. I must limit my time on FB to just 15 minutes a day. I love to scroll down & see all the yummy recipes my friends post, along with pics of their precious kiddos and funny quotes they find. However, it's easy to spend HOURS scrolling down! Many of my friends post several, if not numerous, times a day. Multiply that by 300+ friends, and I'd be on FB all day!
I will continue to check my email and blog ~ I really love it! But something has to change! I didn't choose to return to being a full-time homemaker to sit in front of a computer screen!
I want to focus on my family & my home, and surround myself with like-minded women. I'm not going to become a hermit, but just choose what will make a difference in the light of eternity. Reaching out to a neighbor, (which, by the way, scares me to death!) making a yummy fall treat to give a friend "just because", and to be more hospitable ~ opening my home to friends and family.
That's my thoughts for today. Just wanted to share.
